Over the past year I've noticed more and more people carrying Longchamp Pliage totes. I liked them because they have a classic, yet sporty look to them. After wearing stuffy work clothes during the week, I like to be somewhat relaxed with my clothing and accessories on the weekend. I thought a Longchamp tote would be a prefect fit.
Mr. Southern had a gift certificate to Saks that he let me have - sweet hubby. I used it to order the small Pliage tote in black. It arrived a few days later and its been love ever since. The size is perfect for all my neccessities - wallet, cosmetic bag, organizer, camera, and cell phone.
I am now a Longchamp devotee and have my fingers crossed that I'll receive a chocolate brown one for my birthday in October!

Just Peachy
A few weeks ago Mr. Southern and I had some friends over for a Friday night dinner. Since it was a work day I wanted to keep the menu simple. For dessert I served a classic - Peach Cobbler. My mom's recipe is super simple. Just remember cupa, cupa, cupa.
Preheat the oven to 350. In a baking dish melt one stick of butter. With a whisk mix in one cup of self rising flour, one cup of sugar and one cup of milk until there are no more lumps. Then stir in peeled and sliced peaches (3 to 6 depending on their size). Make sure all the peaches are covered and spread out in the dish. Bake for 45 min or until slightly browned on top. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream.
A sincerely southern classic!
