Full Disclaimer - I realize that I sound like a complete dork, but I feel that I must be honest with everyone in blog world and admit that I am a HUGE fan of Beverly Hills, 90210 especially the high school years. I own the first three seasons on DVD and watch them from time to time in addition to watching reruns on SoapNet. So it is no suprise that I was not going to miss the updated 90210.
When I first heard that the show was coming back I was excited, but then I started thinking - why spoil a good thing? A sequal is rarely better than the original. However, my interest was peaked and I anxiously waited to see how it would come together.
I just finished watching the first show and.....I'm hooked. I enjoyed the way they meshed the old with the new and I look forward to watching more episodes to see how everything unfolds. My only complaint? I miss the orignal Peach Pit and I want to see Nat interact with the new kids.
That said, who do you think is Kelly's child's father - Dillon, Brandon, Matt or some other person? If you saw Hannah doing the school TV station, why do you think Andrea and Jesse (if they didn't go through with a divorce as hinted at their high school reunion) move back to Beverly Hills? Is Andrea a doctor now? Why is Brandon is Belize?
I would love to see more of the original cast back in the zip code that has kept me entertained for years!
90210 is back!
